This would make total sense as comparing the brushes they are of a similar hourglass shape and both have a volumising formula that is neither too wet or too dry. Both mascaras do an excellent job of adding volume and fanning out the lashes to perfection. If you have been keen to try out the cult Too Faced mascara or you're already a dedicated fan, then I'd highly recommend trying out with budget alternative especially when it's on offer, which is often (costing around �3.90), and see what you think of it! Not only do these two products look very similar in the pan but the formula is pretty much identical, feeling soft and creamy to the touch, blending down to a flattering powder finish and feel. I would say Benefit Majorette is more orange-toned than Bourjois Cream Blush in 01, however I feel the dupe is more universally flattering due to it's slightly more peachy less orange tone. This being pretty similar to Zoeva Graphic Brow Fix, which also consists of three shades to the range but at the fraction of the price at �8.50 compared to 20.00 and with 1.5ml more product! Other than Benefit Gimme Brow featuring a smaller wand and a slightly drier formula, both brow gels are incredibly similar, especially with making the brows appear thicker, how the brows still feel natural and not crispy once the brow gel has dried and even on shades. Although a full coverage foundation it applies with easy and I find actually works best without a primer or setting powder over the top. A few dots of this down my T-zone and two dots on either cheek, then quickly blended out takes no time at all!</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><span style="font-size: x-large;"><b>Brow Powder</b></span></span><br /><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Having fair brows my face lacks definition without adding some colour and structure, especially when I'm wearing mascara, making brows a must! For a foolproof quick application, I always opt for matte eyeshadows in a similar shade to my hair colour, applied with an angled brush. With YSL Faux Cils being my go-to high-end mascara (which also happens to dry up within 3 months, ergh) I was on the look out for a new extra special mascara and truth be told I didn't expect it to be this one. In fact, it wasn't until I started to remove the excess products onto the tube opening that I saw this mascara in all its glory. With too much product on the brush I was seeing it's lengthening and volumising effects but my lashes were being weighed down and it just wasn't doing it for me. But once I spotted the error of my ways and started to use the hourglass shaped wand with less product I was amazed! To see the amazing results I totally encourage you to have a Google and see before and after shots for yourself because it really does amazing things to even short lashes. For me, it not only volumises my lashes at the base but lengthens them and fans them out without any spidery-ness! It also holds a curl well and importantly doesn't flake during the day. This as you may have guessed includes the Thick & Fast HD mascara, not to be confused with the standard non-gold Thick & Fast mascara. On inspection, it does look like a pretty ordinary mascara, especially with the straight up and down wand but don't let that put you off as the more than adequate wand with the collagen-filled mascara formula does amazing things to the lashes and performs like a much more expensive mascara. Side note - I think I'm realising that any mascara that includes collagen is a winner for me! Again, this is a mascara that does both, lengthening and volumising the lashes but with the lengthening aspect being most noticeable as it really does pull the lashes up. It's also one of the most affordable mascara in my collection and I'm pretty sure in drugstores... �7.99 is pretty good, isn't it! I remember when this mascara launched and buying it with thoughts of it being a gimmick. This was due to the flexible wand that gives movement to the head/tip, which I soon discovered is actually a genius invention as it allows the brush to be guided by the lashes, making for a full coverage and a non-heavy handed application. This mean it volumises amazingly well without clumps and the tips of the lashes are lightly coats compared to the base of lashes giving a lengthening and fanned out look. But my mind simply resorts back to 3 key issues - 1. You could just use coffee from a jar 2. It's hella messy 3. What's the point? I also fail to believe the caffeine in the coffee does anything in the way of 'pepping' up the skin. But really my main issue is the mess. Oh god, the mess! Why anyone would want to throw coffee granules around their shower (which is what you need to do in order to actually get it into the skin and for it to stay there for longer than 0.5 seconds) is beyond me. FYI if you haven't tried a coffee scrub it's very much the texture, feel and look of semi wet soil - and as messy! I also don't understand the inflated price tag, I mean �12-�25 for a glorified pouch of dry coffee, I think I'll pass. If you want to go natural, buy an organic body scrub or even better make your own! Just not with coffee!  </span><br /><br /><b><span style="font-size: x-large;"><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">Glitter filled Bath Bombs</span></span></b><br /><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">I'm all for magical looking bath bombs and if I had a physical bath in my house I would partake in at least one a week - because YOLO and "ooo, pretty"! But I sadly don't. However, I was fortunate enough to have my own in-room whirl tub on my last holiday and feeling over excited by that fact I stocked up on a few bath bombs from a certain well known Poole based soap company. With a chilled Lemon San Pellegrino in one hand and a summer read in the other I fully enjoyed my first bath in months (I do shower, I promise). That was until I got out and saw the state of myself and the whirlpool tub. Two words - Glitter. EVERYWHERE. At this point you may be thinking I'm being slightly dramatic, but when you have glitter adorning the tips of your eyelashes and other ahem, regions, you know you have a situation on your hands. I also had the issue of not being able to reach the bottom of the bath to scrub what was now none magically seeming glitter down the plug hole. Had I been anywhere other than on holiday I would have had to shower and scrub, alot, but I decided to rock it. This was probably taking the idea of body shimmer to the extreme but oh well, I was on holiday. Not to mention dish sponges being using to blend makeup and errr, socks. The beauty world has literally gone mad! You definitely don't want to strip the skin of its essentials oils as that will only increase oil production and cause the skin to become dried out and irritated. For your morning cleanse a light none foaming cleanser works best. I would personally suggest avoiding face washes which contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (<a href="http://www.makeupsavvy.co.uk/2017/04/ultimate-guide-to-sls-free-shampoo.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">find out more about SLS-free products</a>) and alcohol. You basically want to gently cleanse the skin to remove excess oil and sweat from the night before, so the cleanser doesn't need to be harsh and definitely not astringent feeling. Anything containing clay tends to work well for very oily skin types but on the whole I would look at light gel/liquid cleansers aimed at sensitive skin types, many affordable french skincare brands are ideal for this.  </span><br /><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">As for night time cleansing this is where you want to be thorough and remove all makeup and clean the skin properly. If you've been wearing makeup then I'd highly recommend double cleansing, especially if you are prone to spots. First removing makeup with a solid balm cleanser and a warm damp flannel, as oil based cleansers remove makeup amazingly well and work on all skin types. Followed by a cream or liquid cleanser to ensure all makeup and grime is removed. Your skin should feel perfectly clean without feeling tight or dry.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><b><span style="font-size: x-large;">2. Exfoliate</span></b></span><br /><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">This is your toning step, but instead of a toner that doesn't do much, you actually want to go for an exfoliating acid toner that will magically remove dead skin cells - unblocking pores and improve skin texture. If you a new to this kind of product start with a light exfoliating acid in pad form (pre-soaked pads in a pot) sweeping a single pad over the skin after cleansing at night - Pixi, First Aid Beauty and Nip + Fab offer some amazing ones. If you aren't new to using liquid exfoliants then there are a whole host of products available to you, my favourite include <a href="https://www.cultbeauty.co.uk/pixi-glow-tonic.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Pixi Glow Tonic</a> and <a href="http://www.escentual.com/la-roche-posay/larocheposay029/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">La Roche-Posay Effaclar Micro-Exfoliant Lotion</a>. Whatever you go for ensure you don't over do it (although you can build up your usage gradually) and wear sun protection as your skin will be more susceptible to sun damage. But it's important to understand that your skin oil levels and your skin's need for hydration are two very different issues. My own skin type is oily however I couldn't be without a daily moisturiser as my skin would quickly become dehydrated, feeling rubbish and looking lack lustre, not to mention more oily! So the aim is to find a light moisturiser. If it doesn't soak into the skin quickly but feels heavy and greasy on the skin then it's not for you. Whether you think your skin is dehydrated or not, hydrating moisturisers are often light and gel-like in texture, working well for oily skin types. For oily sensitive skin types <a href="http://www.escentual.com/la-roche-posay/larocheposay009/?gclid=Cj0KEQjwofHHBRDS0Pnhpef89ucBEiQASEp6LL4wh8Lc7az5KURP5JRyx0FzwfjmvQjvWZxT3t5euZMaAr2-8P8HAQ" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">La Roche-Posay Hyreane Light Moisturizing  Cream</a> in a nice option, but my current favourite has to be <a href="http://www.boots.com/neutrogena-hydro-boost-water-gel-moisturiser-10216727" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Moisturiser</a> which very much reminds me of <a href="http://www.feelunique.com/c/clarins-hydra-essentiel" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Clarins Hydra-Essential range</a>. </span><br /><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-size: x-large;"><b>4. Targeted Treatment  </b></span></span><br /><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Oily skin and spots often come hand in hand and although double-cleaning, weekly face masks and the use of an acid exfoliant can go a long way there will be times spots simply appear! For red/under skin spots a targeted spot treatment containing salicylic acid is a must! I've tried many over the past ten years and the one I've found to really work is <a href="http://www.feelunique.com/p/Origins-Super-Spot-Remover-Blemish-Treatment-Gel-10ml" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Origins Super Spot Remover</a>, it may seem a very small product for �15.00 but as so little is required per application it lasts over a year. For blemish-prone or congested areas, a good topical treatment that will prevent blemishes without drying out the skin is ideal. The best method to minimise the appearance of blackheads and the size of pores is to maintain a good cleansing routine and invest in an effective deep cleansing face mask, such as the ones below. Extracting blackheads or using pore strips are very much temporary measures and can dry out or damage the skin. </span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><span style="font-size: x-large;"><b>5. Extras</b></span></span><br /><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">To minimise shine and temporary oil secretion a good clay-based or charcoal face mask can work wonders! Perfect for an upcoming special event where you want your makeup to last, as a general pamper or around the time of the month if you find your skin becomes more oily/blemish-prone. Drugstore face masks for oily skin are becoming increasingly better, my favourites being <a href="http://www.boots.com/loreal-paris-pure-clay-detox-mask-50ml-10216801" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">L'Oreal Pure Clay Detox Face Mask</a> and <a href="https://www.thebodyshop.com/en-gb/face/exfoliators-masks/himalayan-charcoal-purifying-glow-mask/p/p002002" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask</a>. </span><br /><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span> <span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">As for face masks that are blackhead clearing they are few and far between and tend to be slightly pricey (but worth it if you want a super deep cleanse!).
